Biological Description

Tumbuhan ini merupakan pohon konifer raksasa asli hutan tropis berkayu lurus dengan tajuk menjulang tinggi. Manfaat utama pohon ini adalah sebagai penghasil resin damar komersial bermutu tinggi serta kayu lunak yang baik untuk bahan baku veneer dan kertas.
